X-11, X-12, and H10 Risers Installation Instructions

Kawasaki/Suzuki/Honda One Piece Handlebar and Riser Bars

1. In order to get enough slack in the cables, it is necessary to remove them from the two cable routing brackets.  This can be done at any time during the installation or afterward.  We have found that it is easier to do this at the beginning of the installation process.

2. To protect your bike during installation, lay a towel over the front end so you can lay the handlebars forward.

3. Remove the nuts on the bottom of the top triple-clamp that hold the handlebars in place.  Lay the handlebars forward and screw the risers on to the existing stud at the base of the handlebar.   Firmly, hand tighten the risers to the bars.

4. Set the handlebars in place and install the bolts supplied up through the top triple-clamp and into the risers.  Please make sure and use the lock washers provided with the kit.

5. Torque the bolts to 15-18 ft.-lbs.  It is recommended that you use loc-tite if it is available to you.

6. When finished, start the motor and turn the bars full left and right to make sure the control cables do not bind.  If any of the controls are too tight, you may need to reroute some of the controls.  This is not common for this application.
